Team M&M was created by a group of kayakers who wanted more out of their sport. We bring to you real time videos, pictures, discussion, and events from the world of North Country Whitewater. Based out of Old Forge, NY, Team M&M came from the name of the shop where the original members work: Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company. What started as an after work paddle evolved into Pro Mondays, Whitewater Wednesdays, and Rock'n'Roll Sundays. As more people showed an interest, more was done to organize the paddlers into a team, Team M&M. Check out Team M&M on the rivers and creeks of the Adirondacks, having fun, and sharing that fun with you.
This is a calling for the whitewater community to come together and share the fun!

5' 8'' 185lbs. Lives at River House, McKeever, NY. Paddles a Werner ShoGun 194cm. Started boaten 12 years ago and is the original member of Team M&M. It was his vision that brought all of the members of Team M&M together. He "loves the energy of a flooded river" and feels right at home. Favorite quote: "Don't let go of your paddle!".

Jake De Stache / Big Jake

Jake is a self described Adventure Capitalist. Originally from Cobleskill, NY he has been spending his last 5 winters in the Tetons at Yostmark being a professional ski tech and getting as many days on skis as possible. During the summer he lives, works and plays in the Adirondacks. His interests include, white water kayaking, canoeing, camping, biking, horseshoes, long walks along the beach, telemark skiing, x-country skiing, winter camping and alligator wrestling. Jake is currently taking a hiatus out in western lands for the summer!

Chris Morelli is a sponsored whitewater kayaker/film maker, with dreams of kayaking around the world. Chris paddles for Pyranha Kayaks, Werner Paddles, Astral Buoyancy and Shred Ready helmets (thanks Will). With a true love for the outdoors, Chris loves to push himself to run the gnar. He has worked at mountainman for 4 years, spending summers lapping the moose and areas creeks. His other intrests include skiing (alot), mountain biking, camping, music nature, and photography.
